Requirements

Minimum of 10 years of related experience with a 4-year degree; or 8 years with an advanced degree; or equivalent experience
Experience managing professional employees and/or supervisors or supervising large, complex technical or business support or production operations teams
Ability to adapt departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges
Proficiency in decisions guided by policies, procedures, and business plans, with guidance from senior managers
Skills in providing technical guidance to employees, colleagues, and/or customers
Accountability for budget, performance, and results of a medium-sized team or multiple small teams
Full management authority, including performance reviews, pay decisions, recruitment, discipline, termination, and other personnel actions
Ability to address issues with impact beyond own team based on knowledge of related disciplines
Proficiency in Excel and Focus for ad hoc reporting

Responsibilities

Analyze clean business metrics and operating standards to ensure improved operating income, maximize inventory turns, improve business performance, ensure branch adherence to Arrow policy and procedures, and minimize profit leaks
Manage employees—coach and train business operations analysts
Manage clean business—coordinate resources to maximize productivity (involve corporate operations, CFS, SSG, PDC, and branch personnel to identify and resolve field issues)
Audit branches, identify areas needing improvement, and share best practices
Prepare miscellaneous ad hoc reporting using Excel and Focus
