Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years previous Manufacturing experience
  • Knowledge of quality control procedures, manufacturing processes and management systems as they relate to production operations
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing
  • No need for immigration sponsorship (cannot require H-1B, OPT, STEM OPT, CPT, TN, J-1, etc.)
  • Ability to work onsite full-time in Arlington, TX (no relocation benefits)

Responsibilities

  • Support Functional Leader in the organization and running of the business (staff meetings, special assignments, etc.)
  • Be a support resource for all members and support the coaching, teaching and development of the team
  • Plan and execute manpower flow
  • Cover for Shift Leader and Group Leader openings as needed
  • Execute the portfolio/business planning process
  • Manage and plan assignments along with priority goals and requirements in the preparation of difficult projects
  • Develop and maintain the project business cases (deliverables, benefits, timing)
  • Analyze execution of Functional Initiatives versus the Functional Business plan
  • Interpret complex quantitative and qualitative data and recommend solutions to unusual problems
  • Manage budgets
  • Execute the Functional competitive assessment process
  • Collect and analyze key operating metrics for the group
  • Handle a variety of special assignments
  • Develop and conduct presentations for all levels of management
  • Support the effective use of personnel, material, and equipment
  • Participate in training and developing of salaried and hourly employees, and in the development of highly effective teams
  • Support Global Manufacturing Systems (GMS) processes across multiple departments and serve as a resource supporting launch and pilot activities in assigned areas while helping to meet or exceed production cost schedule and maintain quality requirements
