Requirements

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of in-depth, hands-on reporting experience and proficiency in PC software including Excel complex formulas, MS Project, Visio, Access, PowerPoint, and Crystal reporting. Technical knowledge and experience with advanced Workday reporting and integrations such as Matrix, Dashboards, Composite, XML, and BIRT are required, along with experience in creating queries using multiple query tools and the system development life cycle. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, effective interpersonal skills, and strong organizational skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently or collaboratively. Experience building PowerBI Dashboards for enterprise use is preferred, as is an understanding of human resources concepts, processes, laws, and procedures. Candidates must also possess strong ethics and maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Responsibilities

The Senior Workday Reporting Developer will create and maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics for HR and other stakeholders, collaborating to develop requirements that meet user needs. Responsibilities include adhering to the report request process, organizing existing reports, improving reporting processes, and providing technical support for business software. The role involves analyzing reporting requirements, designing custom reports using best practices, leveraging Workday delivered reports, and assisting with Workday security changes related to report delivery. Developers will adhere to change management documentation for audit controls, identify and fix reporting gaps, and serve as functional support for HR technology. They will also consult with end users on complex reporting solutions, test and promote reports, and proactively share knowledge with the team to drive improvements and customer satisfaction. Additionally, the role includes reviewing software release notes, assisting with testing plans to manage risks, and performing other assigned duties.
