Requirements

Candidates should possess a degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Science, Economics, Statistics, Accounting, or Data & Analytics, or have equivalent experience. Required skills include understanding the implementation process (requirement analysis, design, configuration/development, migration, testing, change management), strong observational, analytical, and numerical reasoning abilities, effective written and spoken communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio. Technical requirements include knowledge of Data Lakes & medallion architecture, experience with data engineering using Microsoft Fabric or Databricks, familiarity with the MS Azure Platform and Azure functions, proficiency in Fabric Power BI, SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, and advanced SQL knowledge.

Responsibilities

The Business Intelligence Consultant will collaborate with clients to gather and analyze business requirements, design and develop data models, reports, and dashboards using Microsoft BI tools such as Fabric Power BI, SSRS, SSAS, and SSIS. This role involves implementing data integration and ETL processes, ensuring data quality and integrity in all BI solutions, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders to manage the effective delivery of solutions. The consultant will also work with senior and junior internal resources and clients to prioritize and deliver both "business as usual" models and "continual improvement" tasks.
