Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or a related field
Demonstrated understanding of SQL
Foundational knowledge in JavaScript
Knowledge of relational database design, including table design principles (e.g., normalization, indexing, key constraints)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Passion for data and curiosity to explore process inefficiencies
Solid grasp of analytics and process development fundamentals

Responsibilities

Gather, clean, and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources to uncover trends, outliers, and actionable insights
Design, write, and optimize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and aggregate data from relational databases
Build interactive reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using tools such as Google Sheets, Excel, Looker Studio, Power BI, or other BI platforms
Apply table design principles (e.g., normalization, indexing, key constraints) when working with datasets or proposing schema changes to ensure scalability and performance
Develop lightweight JavaScript-based logic for BI tools or front-end solutions (e.g., Retool) to support business users with dynamic views or form-driven workflows
Assist in developing and maintaining ETL pipelines or automated data workflows to support regular reporting and analytics needs
Participate in defining, documenting, and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across different operational teams
Support process development efforts by identifying inefficiencies, proposing improvements, and working with stakeholders to implement data-informed solutions
Interpret complex data structures and translate findings into clear business recommendations, both visually and verbally
Continuously learn and stay updated on best practices in business intelligence, data engineering, and analytics process automation
