Requirements

  • Business development or solution sales experience in B2B payments in Southern Europe, with a focus on Greece (e.g., from a bank, Fintech)
  • Deep understanding of B2B payments and payment services used by buyers to pay suppliers, including existing account-to-account services (domestic and cross-border), costs, and benefits
  • Understanding of new request-to-pay and Open Banking models, and ability to relate them to buyer/supplier transactions
  • Understanding of the rapidly growing B2B marketplace environment
  • Ability to identify B2B payment challenges (e.g., SME, Procurement) and design payment solutions using Visa products, working with Product and Solution sales teams
  • Experience building adoption of payment networks and commercial products for B2B use cases (physical, virtual, mobile), focusing on SME, Procurement, T&E, underpenetrated verticals (e.g., Fleet & Mobility), and emerging verticals (e.g., B2B marketplaces)
  • Knowledge of Visa solutions, including Visa network capabilities, Visa Commercial Pay suite, mobile solutions, and partner-delivered solutions (e.g., collaborating with acquirers)
  • Understanding of the technology environment around SME, procurement, and T&E in Europe (e.g., ISVs, ERP providers, procurement networks, corporate travel ecosystems, B2B Fintechs)
  • Ability to build relationships with ecosystem organizations (e.g., ISVs, Fintechs) and create referral or reseller partnerships
  • Highly experienced, confident, expert, and consultative skills to work with Issuers, their customers, Fintechs, Corporates, and stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Support Visa account executives and sales managers to grow portfolios in B2B Payments (SME, Procurement, T&E)
  • Self-scout and develop opportunities in B2B segments where Visa has no existing footprint
  • Help Issuers develop strategies for B2B payment opportunities
  • Directly support Issuers with key deals and opportunities
  • Manage new Visa prospects and partners in the corporate environment to drive growth
  • Build adoption of Visa network and commercial products for B2B use cases in physical, virtual, and mobile formats, focusing on SME, Procurement, T&E, underpenetrated, and emerging verticals
  • Develop understanding of Visa solutions and partner offerings to address B2B opportunities
  • Work with VCS Southern Europe and Hub teams to understand the technology ecosystem (e.g., ISVs, ERP, procurement networks, travel ecosystems, Fintechs)
  • Build relationships with ecosystem organizations and collaborate with partnerships team for referral/reseller opportunities
  • Act as expert/consultative team member, working with Issuers/customers and autonomously pursuing prospects (Fintechs, Corporates, stakeholders)
  • Identify B2B payment challenges, design solutions with Product/Solution teams, and manage opportunities through to implementation
