Requirements

Candidates should have 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a similar role, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills, experience handling inbound leads and qualifying potential clients, proficiency with CRM software (HubSpot) and lead management tools, a self-motivated results-driven mindset, excellent organizational and time-management skills, and a Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred but not required; the ability to work independently is also required.

Responsibilities

The Business Development Representative will engage with inbound leads through phone calls, emails, and online chat to understand their needs and determine fit, qualify leads and schedule meetings or calls for advisors, provide potential clients with information on our insurance products and services, ensuring a smooth handoff to the advisor team, maintain and update CRM records with detailed notes on interactions and deal progress, work closely with the Advisor and Operations teams to optimize lead nurturing strategies and conversion processes, meet or exceed monthly conversion and engagement targets, stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitive offerings, represent PolicyMe in a professional and client-centric manner, and analyze lead data to identify trends and suggest improvements to outreach strategies.
