Responsibilities

  • Versatile handling of sales prospects and leads using CRM tools and procedures
  • Provide management with precise sales forecasts and updates on significant changes or progressions
  • Ensure a diverse range of prospects fill the sales pipeline at different points in the sales process
  • Regularly review forecast, pipeline, and sales strategies with individual sales reps
  • Ensure opportunities and leads are pursued in a timely way
  • Assess sales opportunities early in the sales cycle to ensure the sales force pursues appropriate opportunities effectively
  • Provide quarterly sales forecasts and project pipelines to the Supply Chain department for inventory planning
  • Develop profile of sales channels required to improve performance in the region for significant growth
  • Recruit and nurture business connections with channel and cross-division collaborators
  • Arrange activities with partners in support of joint sales engagement and ensure resolution or advancement of issues arising from opportunities with partners
  • Stay current with partners’ strategies, direction, and operations
  • Support marketing efforts of partners in existing and potential customers
  • Mobilize the appropriate partners to pursue specific opportunities
  • Support direct and indirect sales reps in crafting strategies for handling obstacles, customer objections, or driven situations
  • Conduct routine sales visits to establish a strong executive presence within strategic accounts while developing insights
  • Develop and maintain the sales operational strategy for the region, encompassing opportunity mapping, focal industry segments and accounts, sales projections, approaches, and resource requirements
  • Recognize strengths and weaknesses of key competitors and formulate sales strategies to respond efficiently
  • Ensure the sales operating plan aligns with overarching business objectives
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop a strong marketing strategy to boost demand generation in specific target segments
  • Connect with customers and partners to understand their needs and provide top-quality water purification solutions
