Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field, and a minimum of 10-12 years of experience in Tier 1 and OEM Strategic Account Sales, specifically within the semiconductor, logistics, software, or supply chain services industries. Demonstrated experience selling to Top 100 global companies is required, along with a comprehensive understanding of Arrow’s market share and competitor strategies within key accounts.

Responsibilities

The Business Development Director will lead account management and business development initiatives for major electronic OEM and Supplier companies, establishing a funnel of opportunities, articulating opportunity status, and identifying scope and size. They will develop strategic account plans, grow profitability by selling value-added solutions, direct cross-functional Arrow personnel, build relationships with suppliers’ account managers, and execute account strategies to meet sales targets. Furthermore, they will deliver compelling value-based proposals to C-level decision makers, participate in contract review and negotiation, and maintain a deep understanding of client needs, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
