Position Overview

Portable is seeking an experienced contractor or freelancer to join our delivery team. This role focuses on service design and business analysis within the legal regulatory management landscape. The commitment is for 3-4 months, with an anticipated start in the coming weeks.

About You

You are a Business Analyst with a proven ability to lead stakeholder engagements, uncovering, analyzing, and clearly communicating business processes and requirements. You excel at understanding the "why" behind processes, whether driven by regulations, policies, or legacy systems. Your talent lies in translating complex information into simple, actionable insights that empower informed decision-making. You foster a relaxed, collaborative environment, making stakeholders comfortable during workshops and interviews. You are also receptive to feedback and thrive in a growth-oriented culture.

Key Requirements & Experience

• Solid experience as a Business Analyst, ideally at a senior level.
• Experience planning and facilitating effective stakeholder workshops and interviews to uncover and understand business processes.
• Strong skills in process mapping using tools like Visio (preferred).
• Familiarity with BPMN notation for process mapping.
• Ability to analyze business processes to identify gaps, duplications, and overlaps.
• Strong understanding of MS Dynamics 365 and the wider Microsoft ecosystem.
• Comfortable capturing and articulating business requirements and linking them directly to processes and actions.
• Understanding of regulatory and policy contexts is highly regarded.
• Experience working in government or legal sectors is highly regarded.
• Background in technical domains is useful but not essential.
