Position Overview

AG Consulting Partners is seeking talented individuals to join our consultant roster for current and upcoming client projects. We are particularly interested in candidates located in Washington State and Texas. This role involves leveraging skills in data analysis, business analysis, business intelligence, reporting, data governance, and data management. Many positions offer remote work options.

Responsibilities

A typical day as a Business Analyst Consultant may include:

• Documenting data relationships and writing basic SQL statements.
• Implementing and managing standard testing procedures for system changes.
• Facilitating requirement sessions with team members and creating comprehensive work products that document requirements, including validation and traceability.
• Facilitating user acceptance testing, documenting test results, and assisting in procuring business approvals.
• Collaborating with business owners/SMEs to identify automation opportunities and analyze them for necessary process changes.
• Performing root cause analysis to identify solutions for underlying issues.
• Actively participating in project phases and reporting status updates to the Project Manager, covering feasibility, requirements, development, QA, implementation, and maintenance.

Requirements

• Experience:
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in business analysis, business management, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with ERP reporting tools (e.g., Workday, SAP, Oracle).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting Public Sector clients (federal, state, local government, higher education).
  • Proven experience in making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders.
• Skills & Knowledge:
  • Strong knowledge of ERP modules and their integration with reporting tools and third-party datasets.
  • Proven ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutions.
  • Experience in installing, configuring, documenting, testing, training, and implementing new applications and systems.
  • Knowledge/experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Experience communicating analytical outcomes through written communication to both business and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data analytics and visualization tools.
• Experience in creating Test case scripts for regression/functional testing.
• Proven project management experience, preferably with PMP or similar certification.
