Requirements

  • Proven BA experience and Application Support skills
  • Strong Business Analyst skills to guide requirements, build relationships, and present deliverables clearly
  • Hands-on administration of systems like Salesforce.com, reporting/dashboarding applications, SQL admin, and ETL tools
  • Technical background with excellent communication skills
  • SQL skills – db admin, Stored procedure development, scheduling; Cloud db solutions from AWS, Azure, GBQ, and MS SQL Server
  • Salesforce.com administration/development and managing custom-built business applications
  • Business Intelligence platform experience (e.g., Google Looker, Business Objects, MODLR, Domo or similar)
  • ETL/Automation tools for data integration, automation, building robust processes
  • Project management skills, high attention to detail, and experience with collaboration tools such as Monday.com
  • High level of initiative, self-motivated to deliver on projects
  • Enthusiastic attitude towards learning how UMG teams operate and identifying improvement opportunities
  • Team player attitude, friendly, respectful, open to sharing information and mentoring
  • Change management experience

Responsibilities

  • Build and support core business applications for UMG Australia
  • Increase value from existing systems and identify new opportunities to deliver value across business teams
  • Project manage business cases for budget and project completion using internal resources and external partners
  • Provide Application Support across a wide range of business applications, resolving issues and partnering with Global UMG teams
  • Manage business applications day-to-day, resolving support cases around access and performance as part of the Applications Services team
  • Interact with global IT teams for assistance, development of projects, and cases
  • Administer systems for continual improvements to keep up with the changing music industry and business needs
  • Perform DBA work: manage data in/out of the organization, storage, and representation for insight and analysis
  • Conduct business analysis: partner with business on process mapping, guide technology options, design solutions, define benefits, and create business cases for funding
  • Update the technology stack to leverage new tools/systems, reducing risk and costs
  • Keep up with latest technological developments, take responsibility for own learning, share information, and support collaboration and learning culture
  • Manage relationships internally (local business), with global IT community within UMG, and external partners
