Requirements

  • Ability to assist with creation and delivery of face-to-face sales presentations demonstrating knowledge of Comcast products and services
  • Knowledge of competitive landscape and emerging technologies
  • Skills in generating new leads through cold calling, canvassing, customer referrals, and partner relationships
  • Ability to develop sales territory, including cultivation of local business partnerships and organizational affiliations
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent follow-up skills to retain customer base and ensure superior customer experience
  • Ability to prepare sales and activity reports
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in presenting, persuading, and negotiating
  • Ability to participate in out-of-office meetings with customers on a regular basis

  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; ability to work nights, weekends, variable schedules, and overtime as necessary

Responsibilities

  • Sell integrated communication solutions to small-to-medium business customers
  • Develop relationships with individual businesses and the community, positioning the Comcast brand as a key component of the sales strategy
  • Assist with creation and delivery of face-to-face sales presentations; promote sale of bundled products to ensure optimal customer solutions
  • Sell with goals of exceeding departmental, financial, and unit targets
  • Stay abreast of competitive landscape and emerging technologies to position Comcast Business Services effectively
  • Generate new leads with targeted businesses through prospecting activities
  • Develop sales territory, including cultivation of local business partnerships and organizational affiliations
  • Retain customer base by delivering on the Comcast Credo, ensuring superior customer experience, maintaining/building relationships, and collaborating with internal teams for operational efficiencies
  • Prepare sales and activity reports as required
  • Participate in out-of-office meetings with customers regularly
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
