Serve as primary field point of contact for assigned customers (100-750 kW, portfolio of 300-600 accounts) with 24/7/365 availability
Strong oral and written communication skills, effective documentation skills, and working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Solid understanding of the distribution electrical system, its components, electrical units (kW, kWh, kVAR), billing, capacity, power factor correction, service reliability, power quality, and meter technologies
Thorough understanding of Customer Information System, Terms and Conditions of Service, General Service tariffs, and state regulatory commissions' approvals
Professional appearance and dedication in representing the company
Ability to coordinate new and expanded electric service requests with minimal guidance
Responsibilities
Build and develop professional relationships with key managers and executives of assigned customers
Demonstrate strong customer experience mindset with internal/external customers and matrix partners
Evaluate customer satisfaction survey results and develop plans to strengthen relationships
Proactively interface with customers during power system interruptions or anticipated regulatory/political/industry changes
Provide energy solution consultation to lower costs or identify electrically powered process needs
Document key customer activities in ADAM and MACSS
Participate in industry and community activities and organizations
Provide clear explanations of service reliability, power quality, billing, and tariff analysis
Participate in credit and collection process, monitor delinquencies, collect security deposits, and negotiate contracts
Actively participate in sales and marketing functions as directed
Educate customers on effective/economical use of electric energy, company programs, energy management tariffs, energy efficiency programs, products, and alternative energy options
Work with energy efficiency program managers and implementation contractors
Attend meetings, seminars, and webinars to enhance knowledge
Proactively meet with customers to promote company's energy efficiency programs
