Good communication skills, written and verbal to communicate and/or document maintenance needs and status of projects
Must report for work regularly and on time, as scheduled

Physical ability to frequently sit, walk, stand, use hands to handle/grasp/twist objects/tools/controls, use both feet for repetitive movements, walk, talk, crouch, kneel, bend, stoop, twist, and reach with hands and arms
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance as needed
Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance and/or replacements of equipment, facilities, and fixtures following defined procedures and processes
Repair and/or replace distribution center equipment and fixtures as necessary (e.g., floors, ceilings, walls, doors, cabinets, light bulbs, plumbing, electrical, conveyor systems, motive power batteries and chargers)
Retrieve down equipment such as forklifts or pallet trucks and return to shop
Assist with facility safety, food safety, and code inspections
Ensure work is completed in a timely manner while not interrupting operations (to extent possible), and ensure work environment is kept clean and safe
Utilize maintenance systems such as Square Rigger/other software as appropriate to ensure accurate and timely documentation of work and inventory
Assist with maintaining accurate inventory of facility assets (including batteries, forklifts, and pallet jacks) as well as stock lists of critical spare parts and service supplies
Assist with maintenance of facility security, asset protection, and safety needs
