Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales goals is also required.
The Brokerage Sales Specialist will conduct cold and warm calls to onboard shippers as clients. They will coordinate and manage the transportation of goods to ensure timely delivery, negotiate rates and contracts with customers to maximize profitability, and build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships. Additionally, they will track shipments and provide regular updates to clients, ensure all operations comply with industry regulations and standards, resolve customer inquiries and address any concerns swiftly and professionally, use transportation management systems for data entry and maintain accurate records, and collaborate with internal teams to streamline transportation processes.
