Requirements

  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of Broker Services experience
  • Minimum of 5 years related claims/customer service/enrollment and billing experience (or any combination of education and experience providing equivalent background)
  • Preferred: Associate's Degree
  • Preferred: Knowledge and experience in CA Line of Business
  • Preferred: Experience in claims, benefits, billing, and enrollments
  • Must be within reasonable commuting distance from posting location(s) (Nevada, California, Colorado, New York), unless accommodation granted

Responsibilities

  • Provide dedicated operational support and expertise, including single point of service support (phone and e-mail inquiries, claims, enrollment, billing) to Elite Broker contacts (Brokers, General Agents, Agencies, etc.) and Account Management for customized client accounts (SG and LG accounts, regional plan offerings, multi-service area issues)
  • Provide onsite support as needed with timely and effective responses to broker/client service concerns and issues
  • Keep operational teams and sales teams apprised of significant market issues
  • Keep account management apprised of service-related trends and issues, handle escalations, and provide overall support to key broker service issues and needs
  • Communicate with dedicated Brokers about complex client issues via phone, email, or in person to ensure best service
  • Answer dedicated broker inquiries regarding health plan or service issues
  • Respond to customer issues, investigate, and resolve errors
  • Coordinate complaint resolution concerning billing or services with appropriate departments
  • Coordinate broker service needs with other departments to ensure highest level of service and satisfaction
  • Assist and/or train dedicated Brokers/Agencies on electronic applications/tools to support and manage their business
  • Regularly attend and participate in broker site visits as needed (quarterly to a couple times a year based on market request)
