Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Behavior Analysis or a related field and be Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certified. They should have at least three years of experience applying ABA principles and conducting behavior assessments, along with demonstrated experience in designing and overseeing treatment programs. Strong communication and leadership skills are also required, as is a commitment to ethical practice and continuous professional development.
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will conduct behavior assessments to determine client needs, design and implement individualized treatment plans of care, and oversee the implementation of these plans by Registered Behavioral Technicians (RBTs). This includes providing case oversight, motivating and mentoring RBTs, attending team meetings, conducting family training, and ensuring accurate billing and documentation of clinical activities. Additionally, the BCBA will contribute to research, symposiums, and poster opportunities, and participate in monthly meetings with BCBAs and other staff to drive client outcomes and performance.
