Requirements

Equivalent experience and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification are accepted in lieu of a Bachelor's degree
15+ years of previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job
Demonstrated ability to effectively analyze financial data and make informed decisions
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships in a matrix organization
Proficiency in project management principles, budgeting, forecasting, and resource management
Strong understanding of regulatory guidelines and directives
Outstanding marketing and negotiation skills
Effective in working across geographies and cultures
Proficiency in enhancing processes and developing effective plans
Candidates must reside in the West Coast Region

Responsibilities

Partner globally with other groups to develop new business and deliver existing business, achieving overall financial goals and ensuring timely execution of clinical trials and other services
Develop excellent working relationships with internal colleagues and leaders responsible for project delivery, improving information exchange and project understanding
Provide ongoing consultancy, coaching, and feedback to improve the overall understanding of clients and the ability to deliver to their expectations
Assist in business development activities, representing PPD Biotech team at bid defenses and contributing to the advancement of our vision
Collaborate with the Biotech leadership team and other senior colleagues to oversee operational performance, resourcing, financial health/strategy, and business planning and execution
Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing support and addressing operational issues
Represent Operations at the governance level and contribute to the compilation of goals and business plan objectives for strategic partnerships
