Requirements

Candidates should possess an Associate degree, or equivalent military training programs, or equivalent biomedical or technical field service experience, technical training programs preferred, a minimum of 5 years’ experience as an FSE, medical device or military experience required, the ability to effectively document activity in a timely manner, the ability to travel regionally or nationally as needed, the ability for potential international travel if needed for training (Passport Required), strong customer-facing skills, a coachable attitude, a team player mentality, self-motivation, the ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team, the ability to complete all required client trainings for the required platforms, an active and unrestricted drivers license, and a personal vehicle for local work-related assignments, and be within 45 minutes - 1 hour of INTERNATIONAL or MAJOR AIRPORT.

Responsibilities

The Biomedical Technician will be responsible for installing new systems, performing preventative maintenance, completing basic repairs, conducting demo installations/deinstallations (packing), and delivering exceptional customer service while collaborating with healthcare professionals and leading technical initiatives in medical device technology across hospitals in the United States.
