Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience in Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, or Healthcare sales, demonstrating a track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals and managing their own territory effectively. Strong business acumen, comprehension of complex clinical information, and the ability to articulate such information to healthcare providers are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience utilizing CRM tools like Veeva. Preferred experience includes buy and bill & injectables, oncology, and hospital sales experience with familiarity with P&T/Formulary processes.

Responsibilities

The Hospital Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist will develop and execute strategic business plans to target and establish relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within a wide geographical area, effectively calling on physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals. They will manage hybrid relationships through in-person and virtual engagement, utilizing data sources to maximize strategies and efficiencies, and consistently attain or exceed assigned sales and profit goals while managing territory-specific information through a CRM system. Additionally, the specialist will communicate clear messages in complex clinical situations, and manage key account relationships independently and as part of a team.
