Requirements

  • Entry-level position requiring development of Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA) in a supervised environment
  • Completion of various training processes and successful demonstration of competency for independent functioning under close supervision
  • Obtain and maintain water treatment equipment qualification by completing Annual Water Training
  • Maintain current required certifications

Responsibilities

  • Perform timely routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities on dialysis equipment, water treatment systems, and water room aesthetics per manufacturer recommendations, company policies, and regulatory standards
  • Coordinate and complete scheduled and unscheduled routine repair and maintenance of physical plant using company-approved vendors
  • Participate in preventive maintenance of ancillary devices following manufacturer’s recommendations, company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Purchase and maintain inventory of service parts from approved sources; ensure timely return of RGA and warranty parts
  • Perform water/dialysate sample collection, processing, evaluation, and reporting of quality results per policies and procedures
  • Document all daily, weekly, and monthly repair and maintenance activities per applicable policies and procedures
  • Update project tracking or other company documentation systems as assigned
  • Participate in monthly Technical CQI/QAI process, including analysis, data assembly, technical discussions, reporting outcomes, and implementing supervisor-approved improvement plans
  • Collaborate with facility staff to ensure compliance with all regulatory and OSHA requirements
  • Review water system documentation to verify compliance and perform daily, weekly, and monthly trend analysis to ensure proper functioning
  • Identify and escalate instances of non-compliance with company policies and procedures to next-level management
  • Manage medical supply inventory by setting par values, ensuring adequate stock for patient treatments, performing physical counts, and generating inventory reports
  • Support clinical education by administering return demonstrations during Annual Water Training
  • Monitor and review patient care staff’s technique for testing water systems to ensure compliance with policies and manufacturer specifications
  • Attend and successfully complete required training and activities
