Entry-level position requiring development of Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA) in a supervised environment
Completion of various training processes and successful demonstration of competency for independent functioning under close supervision
Obtain and maintain water treatment equipment qualification by completing Annual Water Training
Maintain current required certifications

Responsibilities

Perform timely routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities on dialysis equipment, water treatment systems, and water room aesthetics per manufacturer recommendations, company policies, and regulatory standards
Coordinate and complete scheduled and unscheduled routine repair and maintenance of physical plant using company-approved vendors
Participate in preventive maintenance of ancillary devices following manufacturer’s recommendations, company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
Purchase and maintain inventory of service parts from approved sources; ensure timely return of RGA and warranty parts
Perform water/dialysate sample collection, processing, evaluation, and reporting of quality results per policies and procedures
Document all daily, weekly, and monthly repair and maintenance activities per applicable policies and procedures
Update project tracking or other company documentation systems as assigned
Participate in monthly Technical CQI/QAI process, including analysis, data assembly, technical discussions, reporting outcomes, and implementing supervisor-approved improvement plans
Collaborate with facility staff to ensure compliance with all regulatory and OSHA requirements
Review water system documentation to verify compliance and perform daily, weekly, and monthly trend analysis to ensure proper functioning
Identify and escalate instances of non-compliance with company policies and procedures to next-level management
Manage medical supply inventory by setting par values, ensuring adequate stock for patient treatments, performing physical counts, and generating inventory reports
Support clinical education by administering return demonstrations during Annual Water Training
Monitor and review patient care staff’s technique for testing water systems to ensure compliance with policies and manufacturer specifications
Attend and successfully complete required training and activities
