Ability to pass Ishihara's Color Blindness test (with possible reasonable accommodations)
Physical capability for moderately active work, including walking, standing for long periods, bending to floor level, and handling considerable physical work (with two-person assist and equipment for heavier loads)

Responsibilities

Maintain, test, and repair water treatment equipment, dialysis equipment, medical equipment, testing equipment, and mechanical/electrical systems per manufacturer recommendations and FMCNA procedures
Document all maintenance and repairs
Conduct and document safety checks and routine tasks timely
Perform housekeeping checks, follow up on issues, and clean/disinfect water treatment equipment
Ensure testing equipment is maintained and calibrated
Maintain safe, clean areas with environmental integrity and aesthetics
Conduct building maintenance as needed
Coordinate medical waste disposal
Collect, organize, and restock supplies
Assist in ordering/receiving disposable supplies and creating SAP purchase orders
Assist in monthly/quarterly inventory of supplies with cost reporting
Evaluate and report current equipment inventory
Ensure visibility to patients with daily walk-throughs during treatments, reinforce UltraCare™, and address patient questions/concerns
Provide instructive tours of water treatment equipment for patients
Process water and dialysate samples, package for shipping
Participate in technical QAPI activities documentation
Drive FMS culture through values and customer service standards, maintain effective relationships, and resolve customer service issues timely
Provide assistance at other facilities/acute programs, transport equipment/supplies as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
