Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Proven experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a similar role
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel
  • Attention to details are must
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of legal and financial regulations affecting billing and revenue recognition

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Customer, Sales, finance, and IT
  • Ensure all invoices are compliant with company policies and accounting standards
  • Ensure invoices are generated in accordance with contractual terms
  • Perform regular reconciliation of billing accounts, verifying the accuracy of invoices and payments
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Evaluate potential customers for credit quality and ensure adequate follow up and timely resolution for past due accounts
  • Apply appropriate revenue recognition principles to accurately record revenue in accordance with GAAP
  • Serve as the point of contact for customer billing inquiries, resolving any issues related to invoice discrepancies, payments, or account status
  • Prepare and maintain reports on billing activity, accounts receivable, and other key financial metrics
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, financial policies, and legal requirements
