Requirements

  • Fluent in both Mandarin and English (bilingual position)
  • Detailed knowledge of US Foods products, systems, and tools (e.g., US Foods Online, Salesforce.com, Edge, PRISM, Retalix, Enterprise Product Search (EPS), Demand Communication Tool (DCT), SODS system, CDMR, Tandem – SMOI, CES Quotes)
  • Ability to work hybrid schedule (approximately 90% remote/virtual, 10% onsite at distribution center offices within 50 miles, about 1 time per month or for training)
  • Availability for Sunday - Thursday, 8 am - 4:30 pm ET schedule
  • Willingness to engage in regular phone conversations with customers

Responsibilities

  • Serve as first point of contact for assigned Territory Managers and Customers, providing team selling, administrative support, and resolving questions/requests/issues timely
  • Act as primary liaison between Customers, Territory Managers, District Sales Managers, Product Sales Support Administrator (PSSA), Operations, Credit & Transportation
  • Engage in phone conversations with customers, including taking orders, resolving issues, and opportunistically selling
  • Review orders placed through US Foods Online for accuracy/completeness, contacting customers with suitable substitutes as necessary
  • Provide administrative support to Territory Managers and District Sales Managers, including processing credits, special orders, drop-ships, re-routing delivery days, will calls
  • Contact customers for orders, add-ons, promotions, up-sell/cross-sell opportunities (e.g., slow moving items, close-outs, special buys)
  • Process orders through internal order entry systems and promote use of US Foods.com for order entry and value-added services
  • Support Territory Managers (average 10) through regular scheduled contact to drive sales performance with suggestive, persuasive selling
  • Maintain order guide in Edge and Customer shopping lists in US Foods.com
  • Respond to customer and Territory Manager questions/requests (e.g., price information) timely, either independently or by escalating to appropriate resources (Operations, Category Management, Finance, Replenishment, vendors), maintaining ownership of follow-ups
  • Leverage US Foods systems and tools to answer inquiries accurately and provide insights
  • Escalate issues to appropriate parties as necessary
  • Take personal responsibility for continued professional development, attending sales meetings, product trainings, and cuttings
