Candidates should be comfortable working with tools like Zendesk, Notion, Slack, and Google Workspace, and possess the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly. Empathy, professionalism, a solution-oriented approach, and a collaborative mindset are also required.
The Benefits Associate will respond to employee and client queries regarding benefits via Zendesk and email, providing clear, empathetic, and informative support. They will handle benefits data accurately, including validation, updates, and preparation for reporting, and support enrollment and changes for new joiners, life events, and terminations. Responsibilities also include assisting with invoice audits and data checks, maintaining invoice tracking datasets, and collaborating cross-functionally with teams like Payroll, Legal, Lifecycle, and Finance. The role involves supporting regular audits and data quality reviews, tracking and escalating exceptions, maintaining internal documentation, and suggesting improvements to benefits FAQs or support articles. The Benefits Associate will also act as an internal and external champion of Remote's values and Benefits team's goals.
