Requirements

Licensed Cosmetology/Esthetician (must display current and active license during all working hours)
Passionate about the beauty industry and customer experience
Sales-oriented with skills in personalized sales, upselling, suggestive selling, and verbal communication to generate sales
Ability to provide ear-piercing services and all other applicable paid beauty services offered in the location
Successfully pass assessments of proficiency before performing services
Product knowledge as a brand expert to answer customer questions and maximize sales
Knowledge of CVS services, Beauty Club programs, promotions, and in-store events
Ability to manage time effectively between consultations, scheduled services, and walk-ins
Compliance with CVS sanitation, hazardous waste disposal policies, hygiene standards, and professional appearance guidelines
Completion of ongoing sales, brand, and paid service execution training in a timely manner
Stay current with latest beauty trends and techniques

Responsibilities

Seek out customers to provide a world-class beauty advisor experience
Provide personalized sales service based on customer needs, including productive upselling and suggestive selling
Engage customers confidently in conversations to stimulate sales
Answer customer questions in detail with product knowledge to maximize sales basket size
Promote CVS services, Beauty Club programs, in-store events, and current promotions to close sales of products and services
Represent CVS and partner brands, upholding highest standards of service
Perform ear-piercing services and all other applicable beauty services in the store
Educate customers by demonstrating proper product usage, features, and benefits to drive purchases
Manage time between consultations, scheduled services, and walk-in clients
Create and maintain product displays, special promotional materials, and ensure assigned area is well-stocked, well-merchandised, clean, and compliant
Participate in and represent CVS at sales programs and events
Ensure execution of CVS sanitation and hazardous waste disposal policies
Maintain professional appearance in compliance with company policies
