Requirements

Licensed Cosmetology/Esthetician license (current and active, displayed during all working hours as mandated by the state)
Ability to successfully pass assessments of proficiency before performing services in store
Passion for the beauty industry and enthusiasm for latest beauty trends and techniques
Sales-oriented mindset with strong verbal skills for personalized sales, upselling, suggestive selling, and generating sales through conversations
Ability to provide ear-piercing services in all stores and perform all other applicable services offered in any location worked
Professional appearance in compliance with company policies and guidelines at all times

Responsibilities

Seek out customers to ensure a world-class beauty advisor experience and provide personalized sales service based on needs
Engage customers with product knowledge, answer questions in detail, demonstrate proper product usage, highlight features/benefits, and drive purchase conversion
Perform paid beauty services including ear-piercing and all other applicable services, while representing CVS and partner brands with highest service standards
Educate customers on CVS services, Beauty Club programs, in-store events, and promotions to close sales of products and services
Manage time effectively between consultations, scheduled services, and walk-in clients
Create and maintain product displays, special promotional materials, and keep assigned area well-stocked, well-merchandised, clean, and compliant with hygiene/sanitation/hazardous waste policies
Participate in and represent CVS at sales programs/events
Complete ongoing sales, brand, and paid service execution training with CVS and partners in a timely manner
