Requirements

Licensed Cosmetology/Esthetician license (must display current and active license during all working hours)
Ability to successfully pass assessments of proficiency before performing services
Passion for the beauty industry and customer experience
Sales-oriented with strong verbal skills for upselling, suggestive selling, and generating sales
Product knowledge as a brand expert to answer customer questions in detail
Ability to perform ear-piercing services and all other applicable beauty services offered in the location

Responsibilities

Seek out customers to provide a world-class beauty advisor experience
Provide personalized sales service based on customer needs, including upselling and suggestive selling
Engage customers with CVS services, Beauty Club programs, in-store events, and promotions to close sales
Represent CVS and partner brands, upholding highest standards of service
Perform paid beauty services, including ear-piercing and all applicable services
Educate customers by demonstrating proper product usage and highlighting features/benefits
Manage time effectively between consultations, scheduled services, and walk-ins
Create and maintain product displays and promotional materials
Participate in and represent CVS at sales programs and events
Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and merchandised assigned area compliant with hygiene standards
Ensure compliance with CVS sanitation and hazardous waste disposal policies
Complete ongoing sales, brand, and paid service execution training
Stay plugged-in to latest beauty trends and techniques
