Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aviation Management, or a related field, or an Associate’s Degree with an FAA A&P License. An Airframe & Powerplant License is required, and a minimum of ten (10) years of A&P experience on similar aircraft, with at least eight (8) years of supervisory/management experience is necessary. Candidates must be authorized to work in the US, have an unexpired Driver’s License, and pass a Criminal Background Check.

Responsibilities

The Base Maintenance Manager II will supervise mechanics in overall maintenance operations, including preventive maintenance, repair, and modification of aircraft and equipment in compliance with regulations and company policies. They will plan and prioritize work, train mechanics, oversee equipment operation, ensure OSHA/safety guidelines are followed, and support other maintenance base operations. Furthermore, the role involves determining job standards, evaluating personnel performance, and communicating effectively with various stakeholders.
