Requirements

Candidates should have over 5 years of electronics or technology sourcing experience, preferably in a fast-growing company. A degree in supply chain, sourcing, business, or engineering is required. Extensive experience in managing suppliers and contract manufacturers, along with experience in new product development and collaboration with engineering teams, is essential. Candidates should also possess negotiation and contract management experience, strong project management skills, and the ability to navigate ambiguity and changing priorities. Experience with drones and aviation products is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Sourcing Manager will serve as the liaison between Supply Chain and Engineering for the Drone as First Responder (DFR) product segment. They will support the Aviation team with Non-Disclosure Agreements, Statements of Work, and Manufacturing Agreements for drone products. The role involves managing new product development initiatives by soliciting existing suppliers and identifying new ones, while ensuring compliance with financial requirements. The manager will lead cost savings initiatives, manage key vendor accounts, and build a technology roadmap for future engineering adoption. Additionally, they will create a feedback loop for performance management with the supply base.
