Responsibilities
Answer questions and recommend bakery items to members
Answer member calls and take special orders
Proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods using ovens/equipment and production charts
Gather products for next business day's preparation
Package freshly baked goods including cookies, Danish pastries, muffins, rolls, breads, pies, cakes, and other items
Unpack bakery goods from freezer and display proper amounts per production chart recommendations, including safe handling/storage
Decorate special order or case products
Rotate and store bakery products following food safety, freshness, and handling policies/procedures
Receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
Maintain all cleaning and safety standards in the bakery department
Carry out job functions as assigned, support policies/procedures, ensure safe/positive environment, embrace inclusion/diversity, and deliver GOLD club standards (e.g., stocked items, promotional plans, signage, clean/organized)
