Requirements

Candidates must have professional experience in fintech or financial domains, such as payments, accounting, exchanges, banking, or crypto. They should have worked in or built systems for financial-focused companies and be familiar with compliance-sensitive environments like KYC, AML, transaction monitoring, or regulatory reporting. Responsibilities

The Backend Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Frontend Engineers, Product Teams, Designers, and QA professionals, to create seamless experiences. They will participate in product planning throughout the Software Development Lifecycle, from discovery to deployment, and collaborate to develop robust new features, APIs, and continuously improve industry-leading products. Responsibilities also include finding and fixing bugs at "Deel Speed," providing an exceptional, customer-centric experience through quality engineering, and solving complex fintech problems by building modern, resilient systems that power Deel’s financial infrastructure at global scale, including designing and evolving APIs, services, and infrastructure to support high-transaction volumes.
