Requirements

  • Expertise in driving revenue across integrated B2B media programs (events, digital media, research, custom content)
  • Experience selling marketing programs to clients
  • Ability to utilize a consultative or needs-based selling approach
  • Comfortable with forecasting, projecting monthly/quarterly revenue, and building a robust pipeline
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems (e.g., Launchpad) for updating opportunities, client data, and communications
  • Willingness to attend key brand and industry events for business development and client management
  • Deep understanding of assigned brands, products, audience, competitive landscape, and differentiation
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations to clients and internal teams
  • Team player capable of collaborating across brand and shared services teams
  • Understanding of outreach, sales calls, meetings, and new business development best practices, with ability to define and achieve KPIs

Responsibilities

  • Utilize consultative or needs-based selling approach to connect with key clients/stakeholders and provide solutions to business growth/marketing challenges
  • Conduct productive, consultative client meetings, prioritizing in-person engagement and following up via video when appropriate
  • Creatively develop strategic and integrated media programs (event sponsorships/exhibit space, digital media, custom media, research)
  • Create proposals and sales presentations, present to clients, and close deals
  • Work with internal production/execution teams to ensure client success, present program results, and identify upsell opportunities
  • Accurately forecast revenue, develop robust pipeline, and continuously update CRM with opportunity, client, and pipeline data
  • Attend key brand/industry events to develop new business and manage relationships, including creating/activating outreach plans and following through on meetings/commitments
  • Deliver quarterly territory development presentations to publisher, documenting meetings, closed/executed sales, and go-forward strategy
  • Meet or exceed annual sales goal, document gained/lost business, and manage churn in territory
  • Forecast churn, uncover new business, and grow existing client business
  • Perform as a team player on internal calls across teams
