Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in network engineering with a focus on cloud environments (AWS and Azure) is required, along with relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Advanced Networking, AWS or Microsoft Security Specialization, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate.

Responsibilities

The Cloud Network & Security Engineer will design and implement scalable and secure network architectures in AWS and Azure environments, ensuring integration with existing on-premises networks and cloud services. They will configure and manage virtual networks, subnets, VPNs, load balancers, and firewall rules, implementing network segmentation and security controls. The role involves monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, optimizing network configurations, and implementing security policies and practices to protect cloud-based network resources. Additionally, the engineer will develop automation scripts using tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager, collaborate with cross-functional teams, create detailed documentation, and provide Tier 3 support when operational teams encounter cloud networking issues.
