Current Secret level U.S. Government Security Clearance (Active TS/SCI with agency appropriate polygraph preferred due to federal contract)
U.S. Citizenship
9+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, including operations, management, design, and development of cloud-based applications and capabilities (or Bachelor's degree in related field + 9+ years; Master's degree + 7+ years; High School Diploma + 13+ years)
Ability to work in a hybrid environment (3-4 days per week at Fort Meade, MD customer site or Columbia, MD office)
Strong understanding of cloud networking best practices
Excellent communication skills
3+ years experience with Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.)
Experience writing in Python and working on the Linux Command Line
Experience automating cloud configuration using tooling such as Terraform, AWS Config, Ansible, etc
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (desired)
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional (desired)
AWS Certified Security – Specialty (desired)
Other relevant AWS Certifications (desired)

Responsibilities

Engineering, architecting, and deploying cloud-based applications and infrastructure
Developing strategic and implementation plans for information systems
Developing infrastructure as code to generate cloud security infrastructure and security enclaves
Working in a high-pressure, highly flexible environment against both short and long-term requirements
Collaborating with platform architects on long-term and strategic architectural changes to the platform
Identifying areas for improvement and working autonomously
