Requirements

Candidates must possess proficiency in SQL, VBA, Python, and Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel and Word. A strong understanding of computer networking, particularly in Warehousing and Transportation Systems, is essential. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, strong personal accountability, leadership skills, and excellent written and verbal communication are also required. Familiarity with data analytics tools such as Knime, Power BI, Databricks, SQL Server, and Simplement is an additional asset.

Responsibilities

The Automation Specialist will partner with Process Engineering and other onsite departments to assess daily processes and enhance efficiency through automation and digital technology. This includes developing VBA and macro-based tools, optimizing KPI tracking with dashboards, and implementing central P&G tools. Responsibilities also involve assisting in the transition from local to centralized tools, creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures, managing server creation and risk management processes, and supporting the upskilling of site personnel in Power BI and managing the handover of newly developed tools.
