Requirements

  • Technical expertise in digital transformation programs, including data governance and management, Cloud, DevOps, Blockchain, Generative AI, Machine learning, and robotics/automation
  • Familiarization and technical expertise with assigned business unit(s), including organizational structure, personnel, activities, products, new product development, financial performance, risk, and problem areas
  • Knowledge of regulatory rules and changes within the industry
  • Experience in audit practices, including Information Technology General Controls (ITGC), information security/cyber, business application, and integrated business audits
  • Ability to interact and partner with Senior and Executive Management

Responsibilities

  • Execute audit engagements, including planning, developing project scope, maintaining budget and timeframes, and ensuring department standards are met
  • Manage assigned staff's performance management process, recruiting, and retention for the audit team
  • Provide input to improve operational efficiency and enhance the design or operating effectiveness of the internal control environment
  • Provide technical expertise with a focus on digital transformation programs; perform supervisory work including training new or less experienced employees, reviewing work, and providing feedback and coaching
  • Interact with local and global Senior and Executive management, leveraging technical expertise to evaluate risk areas and align resources
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the global technology audit team on identifying risks and executing audits
  • Function in various roles on audit engagements, including leading audits, staffing audits, and providing consulting or oversight
  • Manage internal audit projects related to systems implementations, cross-function transformational programs, emerging and newly adopted technology, and assist with ITGC, information security/cyber, business application, and integrated business audits
  • Maintain familiarization and technical expertise with assigned business unit(s)
  • Stay current on regulatory rules and changes within the industry
  • Interact and partner with Senior and Executive Management to understand risks, business changes, and significant events
  • Train larger Audit Services team on technology risks and challenges
  • Manage and perform special projects as assigned
  • Participate in meetings with business units to discuss audit results
  • Communicate with partners at all levels, developing and presenting recommendations on operations and controls
  • During audit engagements, assign work to auditors, set priorities, and monitor activity
  • Conduct performance management process for direct reports and oversee it for the team, ensuring identification of training and development needs
