Requirements

  • 3-5 years of mandatory experience in M&A and/or akin such as Private Equity, Business Development, and Corporate Finance
  • Graduate from top-tier business/engineering schools
  • Employment permit in Chile

Responsibilities

  • Support the origination and execution of Chile-based M&A and Equity Capital Markets mandates, including cross-border dynamics from buyer or seller side
  • Be involved throughout the entire transaction lifecycle—from preparing marketing materials and conducting financial analysis to crafting and delivering presentations to clients
  • Coordinate and execute transactions, engaging with senior team members and client C-Level to explore strategic alternatives, originate new mandates, and manage live deal processes
  • Build detailed financial models to assess the impact of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, leveraged buyouts, and capital raises on earnings, cash flows, credit metrics, and ownership structures
  • Perform company valuations using methodologies such as discounted cash flow (DCF), leveraged buyout (LBO), and comparable company analysis; prepare high-quality presentations
  • Participate in client meetings and interactions, gaining exposure to senior decision-makers at large corporates and financial sponsors
  • Exhibit a strong work ethic and entrepreneurial mindset, with a proactive approach to both origination and execution
