Requirements

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 4+ years of relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences
  • OR Associate’s Degree AND 2+ years of relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences
  • OR Bachelor’s Degree
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the job to perform essential functions (reasonable accommodations may be made)

Responsibilities

  • Promotes and sells Medtronic's DBS products and services within an assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Develops, builds, and strengthens long-term relationships with stakeholders including physicians, nurses, audiologists, hospital administrators, and practice managers
  • Pursues leads, assesses needs, and provides product services to maximize benefits from Medtronic's DBS products and/or services
  • Provides support and service to clinical personnel as it relates to the products in a surgical environment
  • Promotes and establishes education of the company's products and/or services
  • Conducts market research including customers' and competitors' activities
  • Implements market development plans/strategies and changes as needed
  • Communicates customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations, and Marketing
  • Establishes and maintains customer relationships, develops new customer relationships, implements sales strategies, and closes sales
  • Works to achieve individual sales targets within product area and/or account by selling lower complexity products/services, developing new accounts, and/or expanding existing accounts
