Requirements

  • Scientific degree or equivalent experience
  • 5 years+ of work experience within the Medical Device industry
  • Orthopaedic experience is essential
  • Prior experience within a clinical role/s
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and KOL’s
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Be a curious thinker who can challenge the status quo
  • Solid commercial acumen
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines
  • Ability to be persuasive in the absence of organizational authority
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
  • Fluent in English

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate technical expertise to facilitate HCP medical education programs including driving the agenda and content
  • Know the market positioning and strengths/weaknesses of key competitors
  • Collaborate with key opinion leaders to design and facilitate educational materials
  • Define key learning objectives for training curriculum
  • Lead cross-functional teams
  • Drive 3rd party contract negotiations
  • Coordinate program design and objectives with faculty
  • Own the commercialization and execution of the overall medical education options offered by the division
  • Develop, facilitate and/or participate in training for sales and/or Marketing employees
  • Analyse metrics and assess the effectiveness of education methods, costs, and results
  • Be part of the creation of MedEd programs, strat plan and vision, develop collaboration with marketing leaders to analyse business orientation and new product launch
  • Communicate short to mid-term portfolio strategy to MedEd to gain organisational alignment
  • Define performance criteria used for evaluating business trends and activities
  • Develop network of key opinion leaders (KOL) to support platform offerings and assist in developing communication strategy for target customer audience
  • Recommend and implement plans for medical education commercialization, voice of customer and onsite programs
  • Allocate resources (including people) and optimize the value of MedEd programs aligned with business objectives
  • Manage current educational resources and develop new tools/platforms for product training events and workshops to enhance quality of education and training
