Broad experience in general plant operations, shipping, receiving, warehousing, and inventory control systems and controls
Ability to manage a small site, central/corporate team, small country satellite warehouse, or continuous improvement activities with less than 1M USD annual Logistics budget
Medium managerial/supervisory support if manager is on site; ability to work with regular phone & email communications if manager is not on site
Ability to communicate directly with local sales force and management
Normally reports to Logistics Manager III or VP/Director Logistics

Responsibilities

Directs and coordinates material handling activities, including processing, packaging, and storage of supplies, materials, and equipment
Prepares schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control flow of goods and regulate warehouse space
