  • Bachelor’s Degree with at least 1+ year of employee relations experience or High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 3 years ER experience
  • Legally authorized to be employed in the United States (no sponsorship anticipated)

Responsibilities

  • Manage high-volume caseload, ensuring compliance and maintaining cultural alignment
  • Continually improve team processes and practices to demonstrate collaboration and improve efficiency for HR, employees, and key business partners
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert on ER processes, including owning ER job aides/guidelines, looking for opportunities to streamline processes, sharing key findings with team, networking with corporate process owners, and training team members
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Coach and counsel supervisors in areas such as conflict resolution, team effectiveness and local organizational issues, employee development and retention, fair and consistent treatment and application of Lilly policies, performance management and discipline, internal staffing and other HR processes
  • Coach and counsel employees in areas such as workplace issues (including referrals to other resources as appropriate), meeting performance expectations, professional and career-related issues
  • Conduct HR investigations as needed, including planning, conducting, documenting investigations, and communicating and delivering investigation outcomes
