The ideal candidate should possess a J.D. from an accredited law school and be an active member in good standing of a state bar. Furthermore, they must demonstrate a proven track record of leading commercial negotiations and providing strategic counsel across various departments. Deep expertise in data privacy and security frameworks, specifically GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA, along with hands-on experience in evolving compliance programs, is required.
As an Associate General Counsel, the role involves leading commercial negotiations end-to-end, advising on product and technology risks, owning and evolving privacy and security compliance programs, supporting corporate governance, and driving M&A and corporate development activities. Additionally, the position requires building operational legal processes and designing scalable templates, playbooks, and workflows to streamline legal operations and empower cross-functional teams.
