Requirements

Candidates must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and be an active member in good standing of a state bar association, with 2-4 years of experience practicing FDA law, demonstrating knowledge of the regulatory landscape for the advertising and promotion of FDA-regulated products. Exceptional analytical, research, and writing skills are required, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills, a business-oriented mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

As Associate FDA Counsel, Advertising & Promotion, you will serve as an internal subject matter expert on FTC and FDA advertising and promotion issues, providing guidance to cross-functional teams to maintain compliance with relevant laws and regulations. You will review a wide variety of promotional content, including ads, websites, TV spots, and more, within the collaborative medical-legal-marketing review process. Additionally, you will maintain company-wide guidelines, conduct trainings, learn the company’s business, collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new initiatives, stay abreast of regulatory changes and litigation, and demonstrate a willingness to grow your expertise.
