Requirements

  • Leadership experience managing highly visible and complex projects requiring unique technology, processes, or workflows
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Workamajig, Workfront, Excel)
  • Ability to develop timelines, estimates, and scenarios
  • Experience supervising Associate Project Managers on routing, approval processes, and documentation
  • Skills in budget and timeline management, including scope monitoring, work breakdowns, and estimating changes
  • Capability to lead client and partner discussions on deliverables, contingencies, and scope changes
  • Expertise in reporting, documentation, conference reports, meeting recaps, and project close-outs
  • Risk management skills to identify, assess, and mitigate risks
  • Knowledge of SOW development, including assets, dependencies, resources, costs, and timelines
  • Financial oversight experience with client reporting, billing summaries, and analysis
  • Ability to leverage technology for automation, quality, and process efficiencies
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to assigned brands (typically one large or two smaller ones) and ensure effective day-to-day operations of project management
  • Ensure all work is delivered on time, within budget, and without compromising quality
  • Work with Account Management leads to meet client needs and ensure cohesive client service
  • Guide, support, and counsel PMs and Associate Project Managers
  • Lead highly visible and complex projects; develop timelines, estimates, and scenarios; monitor and adjust workflows and resources
  • Supervise APMs on routing, approval processes, and documentation; escalate issues to Project Director
  • Manage project budgets and timelines; monitor scope, identify breakdowns, estimate changes, and communicate overages
  • Lead discussions with clients, partner agencies, and third parties on deliverables, contingencies, scope changes, estimates, and budgets
  • Develop and review conference reports and meeting recaps; lead project close-out meetings and provide optimization recommendations
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks; collaborate on escalations
  • Collaborate on annual SOW development from a project management perspective
  • Oversee client financial reporting, brand health, monthly billing, and provide internal financial updates
  • Leverage PM software to automate tasks, ensure quality, and promote efficiencies; ensure team adoption
  • Lead internal cross-functional status meetings and provide project insights to clients
