Requirements

  • Graduate in any discipline from reputed institute/university (preferably B. Pharm or B.Sc.) and MBA from reputed university in Sales and Marketing
  • 10-12 years of sales experience, with 1-3 years of progressive sales management and/or marketing experience
  • Proven track record in sales, ideally as NSM and/or ZSM in at least two zones
  • Exposure to businesses involving both Rx and OTC products
  • Experience in a retail-driven trade environment (added advantage)
  • High analytical abilities
  • Understanding of financial and legal regulations
  • Strong team building, nurturing, and mentoring capabilities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • High achievement orientation and enthusiasm
  • Willingness to travel 25% of the time

Responsibilities

  • Lead national sales strategy to drive revenue, market share, and growth
  • Manage sales operations and ensure execution of demand generation programs
  • Build strong customer relationships and provide leadership to regional teams
  • Foster high-performance culture and drive process excellence through data-driven decision-making
  • Achieve primary and secondary sales targets and drive overall business growth
  • Grow top-line and bottom-line performance in Community and Hospital segments
  • Build strong customer demand through sales force execution, fundamentals, and KOL engagement
  • Ensure smooth execution of demand generation programs to boost recommendations and per capita consumption
  • Maintain high accuracy in sales forecasting and inventory planning
  • Strengthen hospital engagement through QIP programs and protocol-based initiatives
  • Develop and coach regional teams through structured interventions and training
  • Minimize attrition and foster motivated, achievement-oriented sales culture with recognition and rewards
  • Implement CRM tools and KOL engagement plans in collaboration with marketing and medical affairs
  • Promote HCP advocacy via scientific sessions and stakeholder engagement for best nutrition practices
  • Drive commercial innovation and increase market share in Adult Nutrition and DSN categories
  • Collaborate with Trade team to meet joint targets and execute merchandising initiatives
