Responsibilities

  • Serve as externally facing business owner for Lilly-CM relationship and lead cross-functional Joint Process Team (JPT)
  • Develop and implement strategically aligned Quality and Supply Plans and Technical Agenda for the CM
  • Accountable for governance over the CM, monitoring business, quality, safety, and technical metrics; identify risks, generate CAPAs, improvement plans, and escalate issues
  • Ensure JPT operates as an effective, well-balanced team capable of science-based decisions
  • Establish operational plan for the CM
  • Act as key contact for escalations from CM leadership to Lilly
  • Assist with CM manufacturing process issues including Quality, HSE events, facilities, equipment, training, trend analysis, and self-monitoring
  • Own the change and OpEx improvement agenda of the JPT
  • Manage production, batch release, cycle time, WIP, and shipment schedules to meet objectives
  • Assure JPT understands process economics and decision impacts on plant financial scorecard
  • Ensure JPT conducts Root Cause Analysis and FMEA with CMs
  • Report to Senior Director of Operations OUS and serve as core member of Flow Team linking JPT to DPEM Lead Team
