Requirements

  • Proven financial sales professional with experience and contacts in wealth and investment management
  • Working knowledge of—and prior experience in—index-based investing, ETFs, SMA and fund distribution
  • Passion for delivering client centric business models and driving adoption of index-based solutions
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of direct indexing/personalized indexing, index-based investing
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
  • Willingness to travel across North America region (approximately 25% of the time)

Responsibilities

  • Execute strategies to enhance adoption of S&P DJI's index-linked products and drive revenue growth through strategic engagement with asset management, wealth management, and institutional clients
  • Provide support to senior members of the team for territory management
  • Responsible for commercial growth in Direct Indexing and Model portfolios, including influencing flows, strategic partnering, business development, and subject matter expertise
  • Report directly to the Head of Client Solutions Group, Americas, and lead regional initiatives to maximize product utilization and facilitate asset growth
  • Work closely with all parts of the S&P DJI organization, including Client Coverage, Product, Marketing, etc
  • Act as an ambassador for S&P DJI and cultivate a high-performance culture of client-centrism, disciplined execution, collaboration, innovation, and integrity
  • Interact with and form long-standing relationships with centers of influence at asset management and wealth management firms in America
  • Drive index-based solutions adoption across various financial services channels with a focus on wealth
  • Deliver a clearly differentiated, competitive position for S&P DJI, maintain awareness of competitor strengths and weaknesses, and uncover opportunities to gain market share
  • Strategically partner with distribution partners to develop, implement, and support a diverse set of index solutions
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SPDJI indices, providing thought leadership and educational presentations internally and externally
  • Partner with S&P DJI commercial and product teams to develop and cultivate a pipeline of contacts, building strong relationships internally with Sales, Client Service, IIS, Marketing, and Product teams
  • Drive business development across the region and support the commercial strategy across asset and wealth managers
  • Support the go-to-market strategy, maintain goal tracking, reporting, and communication
