Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a Physical Science, or Engineering, along with 6 or more years of technical experience and 2 or more years of management experience. Demonstrated experience in selecting technical stack components, utilizing robust and scalable design patterns, and building end-to-end software systems is required. Experience leading the development of AI applications in large-scale environments and building development platforms for AI developers is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Associate Director of AI Engineering will lead and grow a team of ML engineers to build foundational services, frameworks, and tools for agentic AI applications. Responsibilities include collaborating with application teams to design reusable components, driving the team roadmap for agentic AI initiatives, and ensuring strong engineering practices such as CI/CD, automated testing, and observability. The role also involves mentoring ML engineers, driving cross-functional alignment with various enterprise teams, and staying current with generative AI industry trends to apply them effectively.
